Specialist photography of rare books, manuscripts and works on paper

I photograph historic books, manuscripts and works on paper, including illuminated manuscripts, Books of Hours, early printed books, literary works and individual manuscript leaves. The gallery spans medieval manuscripts through to important early editions and later literary works.

Among the works photographed are the De Laporte Hours, an illuminated manuscript made for the Use of Rome, a medieval genealogical chronicle of the Kings of England, and an illuminated leaf from a choir book by Jacopo da Balsemo and his workshop. The gallery also includes an early edition of John Keats's Endymion, Books of Hours, early printed books and other manuscripts and works on paper.
